A man with dementia reported missing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches has been found safe and well.
The 70-year-old was last seen in Brookvale about 1.30pm yesterday (Saturday 10 August 2024).
When he could not be located, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries, the man was found in Petersham about 7.30pm today (Sunday 11 August 2024) before he was taken to hospital for assessment as a precaution.
