Police are investigating a stabbing at Evanston Gardens this morning.
Just after 2.15am, Tuesday 25 June emergency services were called to Gonis Circuit after reports a man had been stabbed.
Witnesses reported two men breaking into vehicles in the street before they fled the scene.
The victim followed one of the men onto Seabrook Street where he was assaulted.
When police arrived, they located a 42-year-old man with stab wounds to his back.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries are considered serious but non-life threatening.
Police searched the area but the suspects have not been located.
