A man has been arrested following a serious assault in Kilburn early this morning.
Just after 1am, Wednesday 3 July, police were tasked to Brunswick Street after reports of an assault.
Upon arrival, police located a man with multiple stab wounds to his back. Paramedics attended the scene and treated the man, before taking him to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Western District detectives investigating the incident arrested a man at the scene.
This is not a random attack and it’s believed the two men know each other.
A 20-year-old man from Kilburn will be charged later this morning.
