Police have arrested and charged a man wanted on outstanding warrant in state’s west.
On Thursday 16 January 2025, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District commenced an investigation into the whereabouts of a 28-year-old man with an outstanding warrant for a domestic violence related offence.
Following inquiries including an appeal for public assistance, on Thursday (30 January 2025), he was arrested by officers attached to Central West Police District in the Orange area.
He was taken to Orange Police Station where the outstanding warrant was executed, and he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic).
He appeared at Orange Local Court on Thursday (30 January 2025), where the matter was finalised.
