Police have charged a woman following the drowning deaths of two children in Cranbrook on February 25.
Two brothers, aged 3 and 5, were reported missing on the evening of February 25.
Police issued an Amber Alert and a large-scale search resulted in finding their bodies in the Ross River around 5am the following morning.
A 47-year-old Cranbrook woman has been charged with two counts of manslaughter, trafficking dangerous drugs, supplying drugs to a minor, possessing drugs, permitting a place to be used in the commission of a drug offence and unlicensed driving.
The supplying drugs to a minor charge is not related to the two boys found deceased.
The woman is due to appear in Townsville Magistrate Court tomorrow.
