The response will start at 5pm today and operate until 9am Friday, 8 September.
In Adelaide the following services will be available:
- Baptist Care’s Westcare Centre – open from 5pm for overnight accommodation until 9am. The Westcare Centre is located at 11/19 Millers Ct, Adelaide.
- Toward ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ the Resolve Team – additional outreach support will be in place.
- Adelaide North West ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾lessness Alliance – assertive outreach will be in place.
³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾less Connect SA will continue to operate 24/7 to assist with emergency accommodation including on the Far West Coast. Anyone who is homeless, or at risk of homelessness, is encouraged to contact ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾less Connect SA on 1800 003 308.

The combination of rain, low temperatures and high winds pose real risks to rough sleepers who are among those most affected by extreme weather. Code Blues help them stay warm and safe and protect their belongings from the weather.
Risks include developing or worsening of chronic health issues and poorer longer term health outcomes, or risk of death due to sleeping in dangerous areas such as riverbanks and waterways prone to flash flooding.
