The Miles Government has beefed up its support for Queensland’s beef industry by announcing a doubling in funding for Beef2027 and other assistance for the beef sector.
The 100 per cent funding increase further cements the iconic status of the triennial event, which is expected to attract over 100,000 visitors to Rockhampton from 5-11 May this year.
State Cabinet will also be held this week at Beef2024 at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.
