A man missing from the state’s north has been located safe and well.
The 79-year-old was last seen in Walsh Street, Chinderah yesterday about 11pm on Wednesday 28 August 2024.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries and an appeal for assistance, he was located in Chinderah about 11.15am today (Friday 2024).
Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
