It is time to recognise some of the community’s most dedicated members through the annual Mitchell Shire Council Australia Day Awards Ceremony.
The next group of award recipients will be announced during a service at the Australia Day ceremony on Sunday 26 January 2020 in Pyalong.
Mitchell Shire Council is on the lookout for the next:
- Citizen of the Year
- Access and Inclusion Champion
- Young Citizen of the Year
- Community Group of the Year
- Community Event of the Year
The 2020 leaders and achievers in Mitchell Shire will join a growing list of local heroes. The nominees for each award are based on community submissions and are then recommended to Council by the Australia Day Committee.
Applications close at 8:30am on Wednesday 6 November 2019 and can be submitted
