Mobile service centre to visit Nagambie

Golden Wattle, one of the three trucks in the Mobile Service Centre fleet, will be open on High St, Nagambie (centre car parking area) on Thursday, February 10 and Friday, February 11 from 9am to 4pm.

The mobile service travels to rural and regional areas throughout Australia offering a wide range of services to families, older Australians, students, job seekers, people with disability, carers, farmers and self-employed people.

Information about Department of Veterans’ Affairs programs and support services for veterans and their families will also be available.

Services Australia staff who travel with the Mobile Service Centre can also help people create a myGov account. myGov is a simple and secure way to access government services online.

The Mobile Service Centre staff can assist:

  • New claims for most Centrelink payments;
  • Updating your information on Services Australia records;
  • Confirming documents and supporting information, such as certifying copies of birth certificates;
  • Access to Service Terminals;
  • Using online accounts and Express Plus mobile apps
  • Registering for a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) online account;
  • Lodging DVA forms and supporting documents;
  • Connecting with DVA and support services such as Open Arms
  • How financial matters may impact your payments;
  • Payment and service options to suit your needs;
  • Rural payment entitlements for eligible farmers;
  • Medicare transactions; and
  • Social Work support and referrals.
