Modbury break in

A woman has been injured during a break-in at Modbury late last night.

Just before midnight on Tuesday 22 November two men forced their way into a house of Burton Street. While gaining entry the victim was hit in the face with the door.

Once inside the two men threatened the victim before stealing jewellery, laptop, cash and a wallet. The suspects then stole the victim’s 2017 Renault Koleos SA registration YY992U. As the suspects left in the victim’s car they crashed into the letterbox causing damage to the car.

The victims aged 69 received a minor injury to her face and was treated at the scene by SA Ambulance.

The suspects are described as two men of Aboriginal appearance wearing masks.

Patrols searched the area but were unable to locate anyone or the car.
