Monash University has ranked equal 58th globally in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025.
The University has also maintained its standing in these rankings as one of the top two universities in Australia for the third consecutive year.
Monash University Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Sharon Pickering said this latest ranking achievement once again recognises the efforts of Monash staff both locally and globally.
“Our continued strength in global university rankings is a testament to the dedication of our staff to deliver excellence in education and research, as well as the commitment of our partners in Australia and around the world,” Professor Pickering said.
“I thank the Monash community for their ongoing effort and support and look forward to building on this success as we continue to realise social and technological transformation for the aspiring communities and industries around us.”
The result extends Monash’s strong momentum in global university rankings released this year including the and in which the University placed 37th and 35th respectively.
