Monster machinery enthusiasts can join together at Broadwater Parklands this weekend to share their love of all things that dig, scoop, clean, beep and sweep.
Nearly 60 City vehicles will be on display, giving residents the chance to learn about the fleet of machinery transforming and maintaining our city, in a fun and interactive way.
“This much-loved family event is free of charge and can be enjoyed by machinery fans of all ages,” said Division 6 Councillor, Brooke Patterson.
“Kids and adults will be able to get up close to the monster machinery including diggers, excavators, graders, loaders, tip trucks, road sweepers, beach tractors, quad bikes and emergency vehicles.”
“It’s like getting the chance to play with life sized toys and stepping into a world where you are a construction worker, cleaner or lifeguard for a day.”
This will be the city’s 18th annual Monster Machinery Day and will include free kids’ activities, live machinery demonstrations, a Hot Wheels display, giant sandpit and food trucks.
