The buzz is starting to build when it comes to Next Door Espresso bringing its Moonshine coffee and good vibes to Burleigh.
Next Door Espresso and St Barts HQ will be open for September trading at 24 Junction Road Burleigh Heads. This coastal lifestyle destination is set to become a Burleigh landmark. Luminous white with modernist influences, the dazzling building is anchored by towering Livistona palms and features a giant porthole window on the first floor.
Neighbourhood favourite Next Door Espresso built a devout following from the grounds up in northern New South Wales.
“Kim and I both come from Queensland country upbringings, and have been raised with respect for others and an egalitarian worldview. We saw a real opportunity for great coffee and old-school country service when we looked into our first café at Tweed Heads. We’d just come back from travelling through America and Italy, talk about polar opposites when it comes to coffee.
“Kim and I decided to roll the dice and tip everything we had into the business.
“Next Door Espresso has evolved into a place where locals and visitors get together, gather and drink great coffee. The kind of place you wish you had next door, hence the name’, says Simon, who grew up in family-owned country pubs.
Next Door Espresso sources its organic coffee from Moonshine Coffee Roasters in the Byron Bay hinterland.
“We fell in love with its chocolate tones and smoothness. And can’t wait to share this joy with Burleigh!” says owner Kim Piper. Next Door Espresso is located at St Barts HQ Junction Road, and will be open for trading from 6am Monday to Saturday.
