Applications are now open for the Small Business Growth Strategy Grant Program – a program designed to provide further support for Tasmania’s thriving small business sector.
Minister for Small Business, Madeleine Ogilvie, said the Rockliff Liberal Government is focused on strengthening the small business sector and building a strong economy.
“Tasmanian small businesses have demonstrated resilience, flexibility and perseverance in recent years and our Government is committed to supporting the sector and the tens of thousands of Tasmanians it employs,” she said.
“We have worked in partnership with the Tasmanian Small Business Council and the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to develop the Tasmanian Small Business Growth Strategy 2026, which sets out our plan to maintain and build upon our existing small business sector.”
The program will provide grants of between $10,000 and $50,000 to directly fund projects that support small businesses to scale up, to increase workplace capability or for research projects.
Application are open to both Tasmanian businesses and Tasmanian organisations such as chambers of commerce and peak industry bodies.
