A man has been arrested following an investigation into a serious crash at Salisbury North last month.
It will be alleged that just after 6.45pm on Wednesday 26 July, police were called to the intersection of Waterloo Corner and Bagster Roads after reports of a crash between a Ford ute, a Holden sedan and a motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider, a 22-year-old Paralowie man sustained minor injuries and his pillion passenger, a 33-year-old woman from Elizabeth South sustained serious leg injuries. Both people were treated at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
The drivers of both the vehicle escaped with no injuries.
Today (Monday 14 August), Major Crash officers went to a Paralowie address and arrested the motorcycle rider, charging him with aggravated cause harm by dangerous driving, aggravated careless driving, driving without due care, theft, illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving unlicenced (never held) and displaying an unassigned number plate.
He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
