Traffic restrictions are in place on Hardgrave Road and Old Mount Lindesay Road, Mount Lindesay. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions as there may be hazards, such as fallen trees, as a result of this fire.
The Mount Lindesay Highway remains closed from Woodenbong in New South Wales to south of Rathdowney. It is expected that the Mount Lindesay Highway will reopen at 8am Tuesday, 3 December, with reduced speed limits. For more information on road conditions, visit: https://qldtraffic.qld.gov.au/
Due to high winds forecast, people in the area will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality.
