MTAA Super cracks the “Top 10” ratings for 1 and 5 years.
Just released superannuation returns data shows MTAA Super as one of Australia’s ‘top ten’ performing super funds over the last 12 months.
The new SuperRatings data released this week has MTAA Super’s My AutoSuper Balanced option returning 7.7%* over the last year, ranking it as the 10th best-performing superannuation fund in Australia over the last 12 months.
On top of this, Industry Super Australia data released today shows MTAA Super ranked 7th over 5 years, returning an average 8.45%* p.a.
MTAA Super is one of just 4 funds that made the ‘top ten’ list for both 1 and 5 years.
MTAA Super Chairman John Brumby said the result capped off a good year for MTAA Super members, especially following the fund’s decision to cut admin fees in early 2019.
“Our job is to provide great value to members. The best way to do that is through strong investment returns and low fees.”
“These are great results which will make a real difference to the retirement savings of our members. Our team has worked hard to drive these results and improve member benefits.”
Despite the good results, Mr Brumby encouraged all MTAA Super members to stay active with their super.
“Superannuation is a long-term proposition. We encourage all our members to take an active interest in their super and keep abreast of changes to the system which may affect them, such as recent changes to insurance.”
