Multiple arrests have taken place today over an aggravated affray that took place within a licensed premise on Grenfell Street, Adelaide on 13 March 2022.
At about 1:08am on Sunday 13 March, an aggravated affray occurred within a licensed premises on Grenfell Street. Several people within the premises received stabbed wounds, with two men requiring surgery for life threatening injuries.
Today, members of SAPOL’s Operation Meld team along with members of Operation Mandrake, Special Tasks and Rescue Group, District Crime Investigation Branch and State Operations Support Group searched 12 addresses within the northern, western and eastern districts in connection with people identified to have been involved in the aggravated affray on 13 March 2022.
A total of eleven people were arrested today in relation to the matter on 13 March, taking it to a total of 18 people in connection with this incident.

- 19-year-old man from Andrews Farm – CO2200008102.
- 23-year-old man from Burton- CO2200008386.
- 22-year-old man from Paralowie-CO2200007516.
- 17-year-old teenager from Hillcrest- CO2200007780.
- 21-year old man from Hillcrest -CO2200007925.
- A 19-year-old man from Victoria – CO2200008109.
Ten people were arrested today for aggravated affray and have been bailed:
- 17-year-old teenager from Salisbury Downs.
- 16-year-old teenager from Blakeview.
- 18-year-old man from Elizabeth Downs.
- 18-year-old man from Andrews Farm.
- 18-year-old man from Burton.
- 16-year-old teenager from Andrews Farm.
- 18-year-old man from Blakeview.
- 16-year-old teenager from Munno Para West.
- 19-year-old man from Craigmore.
- 21-year-old man from Modbury.
Additionally, one teenager, a 16-year-old from Craigmore was arrested. He has been charged with aggravated affray and breach of bail. He was refused bail and appeared in court today (CO2200009032). This makes a total of eleven arrests from today’s activity.
All of the teenagers who were bailed will appear at the Adelaide Youth Court on 6 May 2022 at 11:30am. All of the adults bailed will appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 9 May 2022 at 10:00am.
Additional enquiries are underway to identify further people involved in the aggravated affray.
