Murrumbidgee River to run through art gallery

Exhibitions: Linda Luke’s Stone (26-27 July) and Double Landscape (24-28 July)

Renowned choreographer and performer Linda Luke will bring the Murrumbidgee River into the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery as part of a new exhibition and performance piece.

Stone is an intimate and atmospheric performance with a dancer, a cellist, and a mountain of river stones. Connecting to the landscape of the Murrumbidgee River, Stone is described as a meditation on nature and exploring the relationship between evolution, geology, rivers and humanity.

Linda Luke will also present Double Landscape, a new video installation that forms a backdrop to her performances. It explores notions of solitude, reverie and space, slipping into natural environments and creating a limitless world.

Double Landscape will be on exhibition at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery from 24 to 27 July. Three performances of Stone will be held at 5.30pm on 25, 26 and 27 July.

There are limited spaces for the 45-minute performances. To book your seat, visit .
