Music Returns to the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital
Music is returning to the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Carillon with regular performances on Sundays.
The Summer Sunday Sessions Series will showcase the range and repertoire of the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Carillon through classical and contemporary favourites, as well as music written expressly for the carillon.
The series will also provide opportunities for carillonists to continue to test new instrumentation installed earlier this year as part of the refurbishment of the carillon.
The series will kick off this Sunday with a selection of well-known songs on the themes of Christmas, peace and Australia, including Jingle Bells, Scarborough Fair and I and Australian.
