The NAB Mini Legends are back for 2022, showcasing some of the AFL and AFLW’s most recognised players.

This year’s line-up of NAB Mini Legends includes mini versions of Aaron Naughton (Western Bulldogs), Maddy Prespakis (Essendon Bombers), Daniel Rich (Brisbane Lions), Nina Morrison (Geelong Cats) and Aliir Aliir (Port Adelaide Power).

NAB Executive Group Marketing, Suzana Ristevski said the return of NAB Mini Legends for their sixth year celebrates the best of footy on and off the field.

“The NAB Mini Legends never fail to bring a smile to your face and perfectly sum up the joy that AFL brings to all of us,” Ms Ristevski said.

“The campaign highlights NAB’s commitment to football and brings to life the enthusiasm that children across Australia have for the game.

“We’re proud to deliver the class of ’22 recruits who we hope will inspire the future generation of AFL and AFLW legends.”

NAB has partnered with the AFL for 20 years and as naming rights partner of the NAB AFL Women’s competition, naming rights partner of NAB AFL Auskick and major partner of AFL Men’s.

NAB’s partnership with Auskick has seen NAB support more than 2.8 million children develop their footy skills, with 250,000 young footballers taking to the field at their local centre each year.

AFL General Manager – Commercial, Kylie Rogers said the AFL is excited to get behind the NAB Mini Legends once again.

“The AFL celebrates footy in all forms, but now more than ever, grassroots footy is integral to local communities and their participants,” Ms Rogers said.

“The new NAB Mini Legends campaign shows how every footy moment can feel like the big stage.

“Whether it’s the roar of a packed MCG or the local footy ground, footy is back and we’re proud of it.”

The NAB Mini Legends campaign will launch on Friday 19 August with a television commercial during the Friday night blockbuster between premiership favourites, the Brisbane Lions and Melbourne Demons.
