Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Nambeelup yesterday, Saturday 1 June 2024.
About 3.50pm, a silver Nissan Pathfinder station wagon was travelling west along Lakes Road, towards Paterson Road, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled, coming to rest on its roof.
A 71-year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 70s, was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
