As stated by Detective Inspector Mike Ford:
Police can now name the man who died following an assault at a house on Skerton Avenue, Hornby on 20 October.
He was Christchurch man Jared James Little, aged 35.
A 25-year-old woman charged with burglary following Jared’s death has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Christchurch District Court again on 4 November 2019.
A 22-year-old man, also charged with burglary and remanded in custody, is due to appear in court again on 22 January 2020.
