NASP has been redesigned as the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research, Methods Development and Training in Suicide Prevention
The World Health Organization (WHO) has redesignated the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (NASP) as the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research, Methods Development and Training in Suicide Prevention, under WHO’s reference number SWE-52.
Vladimir Carli and Professor Danuta Wasserman will act as Heads of the Centre.

Since 1993, the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ centre for suicide research and prevention (NASP) has collaborated with the government, decision-makers in Region Stockholm, and residents to create an evidence-based knowledge foundation, foster development, and facilitate knowledge dissemination. Our mission is to reduce suicide and suicide attempts on local, regional and national levels. This is achieved through research, strategic public health work, education, and information dissemination.
