Navigating ADF Career

Department of Defence

ADF personnel can now access all career management and personnel support information in one place thanks to the new Military Personnel Division intranet site.

The newly launched site is an ADF-wide source for all personnel and career management support information.

Head Military Personnel, Major General Wade Stothart said that the launch of the new site is a significant milestone in supporting all ADF personnel serving across the five domains.

“We are making it easier for all sailors, soldiers, aviators, and officers to access information about their career,” Major General Stothart said.

“We have consolidated career management and personnel support information for our people to enable greater understanding of career support processes, promotion preparation, opportunities within the ADF, and transition.”

Since Military Personnel Division was established in July 2023, the division has continued striving towards creating a single Defence people system from recruitment through to transition.

“It’s important that all ADF personnel regularly visit the new intranet site for up-to-date career management and personnel support information and resources,” Major General Stothart said.

“We will continue to improve and evolve information as we enhance our processes to deliver the best outcomes for our people.”

The new site has collated information from each of the branches within the division.

These Branches are: Defence Force Recruiting, Navy Career Management, Army Career Management, Air Force Career Management, Space and Cyber Career Management, Military Personnel Branch, and the Joint Transition Authority.

For access to the website, personnel should search ‘Military Personnel Division’ on the intranet.
