An exhibition titled There will always be flowers if you look: A group exhibition celebrating neurodiversity is now open at the Crows Next Art Gallery.
The exhibition, which runs until 3 April, showcases the work of four local artists and celebrates and promotes neurodiversity in our community.
There will always be flowers if you look, is about embracing our differences as a source of wonder and putting attention to what is often overlooked.
The Toowoomba Region is home to many individuals affected by disability and neurological differences that hinder their ability to pursue interested and other liberties afforded to residents without the same barriers.
It’s hoped this exhibition can help start further conversations around changing public perceptions of those who are neurodiverse.
Exhibition coordinator, Fiona Cockfield, mentors aspiring artists and creatives living with a disability. She also passionately advocates for neurodiversity and provides unique support to clients in their artistic endeavours.
