If you hold or are thinking of holding an explosives licence in NSW make sure you understand the changes commencing 1 September 2024.
Commencing 1 September 2024, there will be amendments to the Explosives Act 2003 and the Explosives Regulation 2013 will be replaced by the Explosives Regulation 2024.
These changes reflect the ongoing commitment to safety, compliance, and the advancement of industry standards. The amended Act and new Regulation introduce several key changes designed to enhance the safe management, handling, and transportation of explosives.
We encourage everyone to familiarise themselves with these changes.
