Join us in the fight against pesky plastics! We’re helping sports clubs and community groups phase out their reliance on plastics with our innovative single-use plastic grant.
Grants range from $1,000-5,000 and can go towards purchasing reusable bottles, crockery, a dishwasher or other items for your group/club. Reusable items that will save money in the long run and create less waste. Better for the club, better for the planet!

Applications close 10 June, or when funds run out – first in, best dressed! To learn about the eligibility criteria and apply for the grant, go to .

Quote attributable to Mayor Councillor Anthony Marsh:
“Change starts with us! Often, we opt for single-use plastics out of habit, even though we know how bad they are. We are changing that. As an organisation, we are phasing out the use of single-use plastics in our offices, halls, sporting clubs, events and on Shire managed land. And now we’re helping community groups phase out their use of plastics with our innovative single-use plastic grant.
“Apply for a grant to help your community group or sports club phase out single-use plastics and be the change you want to see!”
