City of Darwin is pleased to announce a new tenant will soon take up residency at the Casuarina Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
Club Lime gym will provide 24/7 facilities within the centre for people looking to stay fit and active.
Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said he was excited to welcome the new gym to the facility.
“The Casuarina Aquatic and Leisure Centre has been incredibly well received by the community since it opened, and we are thrilled to provide another health and wellness option for the community to enjoy,” Mr Vatskalis said.
“The new Club Lime gym is perfect for people looking to stay active and will be open 24/7 so that you can fit a workout in at a time that suits.
“The gym provides a convenient option for parents or carers whose children might be taking part in one of our Learn to Swim programs, or who are simply enjoying one of the three sparkling pools on offer,” he said.
Club Lime complements a range of options for people to stay fit and active within the centre, including a dry play area, plenty of grassed open play and recreation space and a 3 x 3 basketball court.
The Casuarina Aquatic and Leisure Centre was jointly funded by City of Darwin who contributed $19.3 million and the Federal Government who contributed $7.5 million.
