On Wednesday 18 May, brilliant pianist Simon Tedeschi joins Live at Lunch Artistic Director and stellar flautist, Jane Rutter on stage at The Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood to perform Visions, Fugitives and The Lovers.
This beautiful concert is the third in the popular Live at Lunch six-part series. It coincides with the launch of Simon’s first book Fugitive, a work – using Prokofiev’s Visions Fugitives as a thread – that meditates on music, poetry, memory and literature.
Included in the program: Tchaikovsky’s Mélodie from Souvenir d’un Lieu Cher Op. 42 (which inspired the song These Are the Things I Love), and Chant sans Paroles; Prokofiev’s Visions Fugitives, and Knights’ Dance from Romeo & Juliet Suite; Stravinsky’s Danse Russe from Petrushka; Schumann’s Romances Op. 94 and Mancini’s adored Love Theme from Romeo & Juliet.
