- Colin Smith appointed CEO of Lotterywest and Healthway
- Five-year appointment commences on 13 May 2024
Premier Roger Cook and Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson today announced the appointment of Colin Smith as Chief Executive Officer of both Lotterywest and Healthway.
Mr Smith has extensive experience as a senior executive in government and the private sector, including almost 13 years at Synergy in the Manager Corporate Strategy Implementation, General Manager Customer Experience and other roles.
He is currently the chief operating officer at the Telethon Kids Institute and has also worked at Tata Group and Bankwest.
Mr Smith brings a broad range of knowledge and capabilities to the role, including in strategy development and execution, organisational culture development, customer service and community engagement, and technology innovation and transformation.
He commences his five-year appointment on 13 May, following the departure of Ralph Addis in late 2023. Jeremy Hubble, Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Corporate Services, has been acting in the CEO position this year.

“Lotterywest and Healthway play an important role in our community through grant provision and supporting initiatives that make a difference to the lives of Western Australians.
“I welcome Mr Smith to the role and look forward to seeing the excellent work of Lotterywest and Healthway continue under his leadership.
“I’d like to thank Jeremy Hubble for his stewardship of the organisation as Acting CEO this year.”
