SIX new premium cabins have opened at Reflections Holiday Parks in Massy Greene at Brunswick Heads – just in time for the start of the Easter school holidays.
Reflections CEO Nick Baker said the cabins were a win for families travelling over the holiday period and beyond, and complemented the existing accommodation at the picturesque riverside retreat.
“With the Brunswick River at its doorstep and beaches, creeks, parks and reserves and the township within walking distance, Massy Greene is the perfect spot to unwind,” Mr Baker said.
Guests can enjoy outdoor activities on the water, from fishing to snorkelling, visit local community facilities like the Bowlo or golf club, explore nearby towns like Byron, Ballina and Tweed Heads, or just relax in the natural environment.”
The six premium cabins all have modern features including TV, dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, air-conditioning, Foxtel, baths and outdoor showers. Four of the cabins sleep six guests, while two are for six guests.
The $3.3 million investment in the six cabins was supported as part of a $28 million NSW Government loan to Reflections Holiday Parks to upgrade facilities at its regional parks to help boost local tourism.
“These premium cabins will attract more visitors to the Massy Greene park which will benefit local businesses and support tourism jobs in the region,” Mr Baker said.
Mr Baker said it was estimated the cabins will generate more than $885,000 in economic benefit in their first year of operations.
“As a Crown Land Manager, Reflections cares for almost 23,000 acres of land: 94 per cent of it is reserve area, and the remainder is where its 36 holiday parks are located,” he said.
“Reflections is Australia’s only certified social enterprise holiday park group reinvesting all profits into caring for the 36 holiday parks and 43 reserves it manages on Crown land in NSW.”
