Mitchell Shire Council has a new Mayor, following an election by Councillors at a Special Council Meeting on Monday 16 November.
Cr Rhonda Sanderson was sworn in as Mitchell Shire’s Mayor during the . First time Councillor Nathan Clark was also elected to the role of Deputy Mayor.
The pair will lead the Council for the next year after Councillors also voted to install Mayor Sanderson for a single term.
The meeting also saw Mitchell Shire’s Councillors for the next four years sworn in:
