A new pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic will open from today at Canning Vale Market City in Perth’s southern suburbs.
The clinic will be open from 9am to 3pm every day, at first floor, Block B, Suite 14, 280 Bannister Road, Canning Vale.
While bookings are encouraged by visiting , people can attend the Canning Vale COVID-19 vaccination clinic without an appointment.
The pop-up clinic will provide about 2,000 vaccinations each week.
Community vaccination clinics are now open at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City, Centrepoint Midland Shopping Centre, Claremont Showgrounds, Kwinana Supa Centre, Perth Convention Exhibition Centre, Armadale Central Shopping Centre and The Square Mirrabooka, in addition to more than 100 regional locations across Western Australia.
The opening of the Canning Vale clinic coincides with the ‘Super Vax Weekend’ this weekend (November 6 and 7), during which COVID-19 vaccines will be available at eight Bunnings locations, four pop-up clinics and 14 State-run clinics throughout WA.
All Western Australians aged 12 years and over are urged to visit to register and book their vaccination appointments as soon as possible.
As stated by Health Minister Roger Cook:
“Canning Vale is a thriving suburb, home to more than 33,000 people.
“Having a pop-up clinic in this location makes sense – it’s a convenient place for local people to roll up for WA and get vaccinated against COVID-19.”
As stated by Southern River MLA Terry Healy:
“To my local community: please get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as you can.
“Please roll up for WA and get vaccinated – for yourself, your family and your community.”
As stated by Jandakot MLA Yaz Mubarakai:
“Vaccination is the best defence we have against this deadly virus.
“I encourage all eligible residents to book their vaccination appointment or simply walk into the new Canning Vale clinic.”
