New Premium Accommodation at Reflections Bermagui to increase Visitor Spending to $3 Million

Reflections Holiday Parks

A $3.89 million premium cabin precinct to be ready for guests at the Reflections Holiday Park Bermagui in December will provide more opportunities to experience the very best the South Coast has to offer and raise visitor spending in the region to $3 million annually. Reflections Bermagui welcomes more than 52,000 visitors each year, contributing almost $2 million to the regional economy. The eight new premium cabins will provide an additional injection of $1 million on top of that for local businesses and tourism operators. This exciting new cabin precinct will meet increased demand for high quality, sustainable holiday accommodation in the South Coast and is part of a group-wide accelerated program of luxury cabin, glamping and tiny home developments ready in time for Summer. Minister for Lands and Water Kevin Anderson the NSW Government is providing $28 million in loan funding to Reflections to support ongoing plans to improve park facilities. “Reflections manages over 9,200 hectares of Crown land across NSW providing quality holiday experiences at 36 holiday parks, and our $28 million loan funding will help it invest in capital upgrades across the state to help grow regional tourism,” Mr Anderson said. “Park improvements like Bermagui are part of Reflections’ Strategic Plan to boost investment to enhance guest experiences, showcase regional NSW and support local towns, businesses and economies.” Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Nick Baker said there are incredibly exciting times for the group with Reflections parks focussed on growth with a purpose. “As the largest holiday park group in the State, we see ourselves as the recreation centre for rural and regional communities,” Mr Baker said. “Our seven new 6-berth cabins and one 4-berth accessible cabin at Bermagui, will almost double the number of roofed accommodation people can book. Bermagui is such a special part of the South Coast, and we are proud to provide more opportunities for people to visit the region and experience all it has to offer. “We are also upgrading the stormwater system, building retaining walls and providing extra parking for guests and visitors with 10-metre driveways to accommodate vehicles and boats. Three of our older style-cabins have also been fully refurbished with new flooring, decks and larger modern-style bathrooms in response to guest feedback. “Our parks like Bermagui aim to boost regional tourism and economies. By FY 2030 we aim to generate $1.3 billion* in cumulative economic value for NSW while reinvesting profits back into our land, assets and communities. We are a profit for purpose and growth with purpose. Every dollar spent at our parks equates to about $1.53 in tourist spending in the local economy, supporting NSW businesses.”

Mr Baker said Reflections was the only accommodation provider which managed holiday parks and community reserves for the people of NSW. “Our purpose is what makes us impactful and relevant, and our park improvements increase connections with communities,” Mr Baker said. “There was never a better time than now to Live More, Feel More, and Connect More. We can’t wait for people to get out and experience new adventures at our parks and explore the very best regional NSW has to offer. “Our nature escapes refresh the mind, body and soul and we will continue our path of growth with a purpose for the benefit of guests and regional communities.” To book a Reflections Holiday Park’ experience at Bermagui
