A new public charging station for electric vehicles has been installed in Hastings.
Located at the Woolworths carpark on King Street, the 50kW fast-charger will be capable of charging a typical electric vehicle from flat to 80 per cent charge in approximately one hour.
This service is part of DELWP’s , providing $5 million in grants to create a public electric vehicle fast-charging network across the state to promote the uptake of sustainable transport.
The service will be operated by Evie Networks, who have committed to power all chargers from 100 per cent renewable electricity sources.
