New series reveals Sydney has all ingredients for ultimate holiday

Sydney’s spectacular natural beauty, world-class restaurants, vibrant arts and culture and friendly locals have been described by chef Curtis Stone and his wife Lindsay Price Stone as unmissable and “only in Sydney” in a candid new content series created for YouTube.

Launching on the Sydney on Monday 25 September, Carry On with Curtis and Lindsay – Sydney follows the couple as they rediscover Sydney’s lively CBD and surrounding neighbourhoods, meeting old and new friends along the way and taking inspiration from Sydney back to LA.

Produced in partnership with Destination NSW, the eight-part content series takes viewers on a journey with Curtis and Lindsay on their first adventures in and around Sydney in two years.

Together, the celebrity couple explore Sydney’s world-class restaurants and bars, immerse themselves in its arts and culture scene, take in the city’s famous icons from the sea and above, and explore Sydney’s incredible natural surrounds just beyond the CBD.

NSW Minister for Tourism Ben Franklin said Sydney bursts with incredible experiences and stands ready to welcome travellers from near and far with open arms.

“Sydney is a vibrant and diverse global city that intrigues, amazes and delights at every turn. As this series highlights, there is so much to discover or connect with, whether it is your first or 51st visit,” Mr Franklin said.

“Curtis and Lindsay are two well-known visitors who ably showcase Sydney’s inspiring locals, incredible experiences and a treasure of places for visitors to discover on their travels.

“The NSW Visitor Economy Strategy 2030 had a bold vision to make NSW the premier visitor economy of the Asia Pacific. This series will help drive local and international visitation to help achieve its target of $65 billion in visitor expenditure by 2030.”

Curtis Stone said returning to explore Sydney reinvigorated his love of the city and everything it has to offer.

“Sydney is a city that wows you at every turn – where else in the world can you be in CBD in the morning, surfing at the famous Bondi beach at lunch and enjoying a world-class restaurant by night?”, Stone said.

“Visiting my favourite places in Sydney, discovering new ones and showing Lindsay around this incredible city has been so special. From the flavours of the omakase meal we enjoyed at Kobo to the ancient stories shared with us at Bangarra, our trip was a reminder that Sydney is always evolving – we can’t wait to come back.”

Lindsay Price Stone said, “Sydney is a city full of surprises – Sydney Harbour is a must-see, but there is so much more to experience here, particularly from an arts and culture perspective. The retail and shopping was also a highlight for me!”

Across the series, the locations and experiences Curtis and Lindsay showcase include:
