Celebrating the return of Fremantle International Street Arts Festival the City of Fremantle is excited to launch a brand-new walking tour. A brand new Behind the Scenes Tour will launch for the first time this Easter offering a highly curated unique experience to the largest street arts festival in Australasia. The Behind the Scenes Walking Tour departs from Fremantle Visitor Centre in Walyalup Koort. Tours are scheduled for two departure times over the weekend, 12 noon and 3pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Behind the Scenes walking tour is only available over the Easter weekend. Book at About Fremantle International Street Arts Festival: FISAF started as a celebration of Fremantle’s local busking culture in 1999 and has grown into a showcase of the world’s best street theatre. The historic streets of Fremantle are transformed into an open-air theatre with the famous Cappuccino Strip closed to traffic and High Street West End presents the West End Weekender. Entertainment centres around several major ‘pitches’ or performance locations and roving performers pop up in surprising and interesting places all across the city. Fremantle’s famous alfresco dining steps up a notch, with pop-up bars, eateries and boutique stores extend into the streets. |
