Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Ngaanyatjarra-Giles, near Warakurna, after a vehicle was located crashed today, Saturday 31 August 2024.
About 11:15am, WA Police Force was notified of a crash involving a silver Toyota Landcruiser on Great Central Road. It appears the vehicle was being driven east on Great Central Road, when the vehicle rolled. At this time, it is not confirmed when the crash occurred.
The 79-year-old male driver of the vehicle died at the scene.
A 53-year-old female passenger was taken to the Warakurna Clinic for treatment of injuries she received in the crash.
