Brisbane-born NOJA Power is today celebrating winning Queensland Exporter of the Year.
The electricity industry super-cycle is driving demand for sustainable switchgear.
NOJA Power’s in-house research and development team has produced Australian intellectual property in electrical switchgear, used to control the electricity distribution grid.
Founded on the principles of environmentally sustainable switchgear design, NOJA Power has innovated new methods of building switchgear that relies on non-toxic materials, instead of defunct industry standard materials such as SF6.
The sustainability of NOJA Power switchgear aligns with the sustainability goals of electricity distribution utilities and renewable energy generators, while remaining price competitive with legacy competitor technologies.
This makes NOJA Power switchgear, such as the OSM® Recloser, GMK, and NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH®, the preferred product for electricity distribution utilities in 106 countries worldwide.
NOJA Power employs over 350 staff, with the company headquarters and manufacturing campus in Murarrie and Distribution Centre in Morningside on the Queensland Trade Coast.
Proximity to the Port of Brisbane is a strategic decision, as 88% of revenue for the group is derived from export sales.
