Queensland Health will reinstate the non-restricted border zone rules for the Glen Innes Severn local government area (LGA) from 1am Friday 24 September following NSW Health’s announcement that stay at home orders will be lifted at midnight tonight.
This will mean residents in the Glen Innes Severn LGA and Queenslanders travelling to the area will be able to cross the border for more reasons.

The border pass system is being updated and people will receive a text message when they can reapply for a pass. In the meantime, please bring proof of residency in Glen Innes Severn LGA to the border.
