Perth Detectives have charged two men as a result of their investigation into a serious assault in Northbridge on Thursday 12 December 2019.
It will be alleged around 5am one of the men got out of a vehicle in Beaufort Street and approached the victim, a man in his 30’s. The man punched the victim who fell unconscious to the ground.
It will further be alleged the man and a second man removed shoes and clothing items from the victim before leaving the area in a vehicle.
The victim was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital with serious head injuries.
As a result a 47-year-old Yokine man was charged with grievous bodily harm and aggravated robbery.
A 33-year-old Joondanna man was charged with aggravated robbery.
Both will be appearing in Perth Magistrates Court today 13 December 2019.
