A man has been charged with drugs and proceeds of crime offences following a two-month police operation on the Northern Beaches.
Strike Force Kegun was established to investigate the supply of illicit drugs allegedly by a 26-year-old man from Collaroy Plateau.
Following extensive inquiries, officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command arrested the man as he left an underground garage in Manly.
About 9:40am yesterday (Friday 10 May 2019), when searching the garage, police seized commercial quantities of MDMA and cocaine, cash and items used for the supply of drugs.
A search warrant was then executed at the man’s Collaroy Plateau home, where police seized steroids, watches and a knuckle duster.
The man has been charged with seven offences.
- Supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity (two counts)
- Supply prohibited drug – large commercial quantity
- Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime
- Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit
- Deal with property proceeds of crime
- Possess/attempt to, anabolic or androgenic steroids
The man was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 11 May 2019).
