Members of the community are invited to enjoy a free breakfast on Saturday, 26 November at the Cyril Flood Rotunda in Church Street from 7.30am – 9.30am while discussing ideas related to the Dubbo Regional Council Local Government Area (LGA).
Councillors from Dubbo Regional Council including Mayor Mathew Dickerson, the Member for Dubbo, the Hon Dugald Saunders MP and the Federal Member for Parkes, the Hon Mark Coulton MP will be attending the regular community leaders’ breakfast.
Mayor Mathew Dickerson encouraged community members to come along: “This is an opportunity for residents, business owners and community organisations to chat about local, state and national issues over an informal breakfast,” he said.
“It is always a valuable and enjoyable morning, connecting with local residents and hearing the views of our community,” Councillor Dickerson said.
Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said that the regular chats over breakfast are beneficial to both the community and elected members: “The informal event is a great opportunity to exchange information and discuss ideas from different perspectives.”
“I look forward to catching up with community members and business owners over my morning coffee”, he said.
Federal Member for Parkes Mark Coulton welcomed the opportunity to speak with his constituents in Dubbo. “The Community Leaders’ Breakfast is a chance for me to meet the community in a relaxed setting and hear their feedback, concerns and new ideas,” Mr Coulton said. “I always enjoy catching up with the Dubbo community and hope that many will come along at the end of the month.”
