Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a serious crash that occurred in Nowergup on Sunday, 23 July 2023.
About 2.50pm, a group of motorcyclists were riding together, travelling east along Wesco Road. As one of the group, a white BMW motorcycle, was turning onto Gibbs Road it collided with a blue Mercedes Benz 166 station wagon.
The 41-year-old male motorcycle rider sustained critical injuries in the crash and was conveyed to hospital for treatment. The 31-year-old female driver of the Mercedes Benz was not injured.
Anyone with information regarding this crash, or who saw the BMW motorcycle or the Mercedes Benz station wagon travelling in the area prior to the crash, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
