NRMA Insurance partners with Nine to broadcast Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games
NRMA Insurance today announced it has partnered with Nine as a premium broadcast partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, making it the first time in history the insurance brand has supported a network’s Olympic Games broadcast.
NRMA Insurance is one of four premium broadcast partners supporting Nine’s Olympic Games coverage, which is a first of its kind with Nine having total audio-visual and radio rights to the Games nationally across all of its channels on free-to-air television, digital and radio.
NRMA Insurance will be the exclusive insurance partner of Nine’s Olympic Games coverage, helping to bring the broadcast to Australians nationwide in what is set to be the most comprehensive Olympic Games coverage by any Australian media outlet ever.
NRMA Insurance CEO Julie Batch said: “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Nine to help Australians unite as a nation to watch our inspiring athletes compete in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This year is particularly special for NRMA Insurance as we begin celebrating our 100th year helping Australians.

“Nine’s broadcast of the Olympic Games, one of the world’s most iconic and loved sporting events, is the ideal platform for us to celebrate this milestone for our leading and trusted Australian brand.
“The partnership will deliver a year-round presence and broad national reach, which will support NRMA Insurance’s brand promise of Help, right the way across Australia. NRMA Insurance is well positioned to help our communities as they get prepared for the future.”
Nine expects its Olympic Games media program to connect with 98% of Australians. The media promotional campaign stretches from the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, which commenced last week, all the way to the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony on 8 September 2024.
The partnership was secured in collaboration with Initiative Media.
