Police are investigating a domestic-related aggravated break and enter at a home in Blacktown yesterday.
About 5.30pm (Sunday 3 May 2020), four males entered a home on Burnie Street, Blacktown and spoke to a 47-year-old female occupant, before demanding to speak to an 18-year-old man living at the home.
The woman contacted a relative, and a 56-year-old man attended shortly after and confronted the males. The man attempted to contact police, and one of the males has punched him in the face, knocking the phone out of his hand, before being further assaulted.
The group fled and police were notified.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
The 56-year-old was treated and taken to Blacktown Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics. He remains in a stable condition.
Three of the males are described as being of Caucasian appearance.
The first is aged in his 20s, about 180cm tall, with a thin build and short brown hair. He is believed to have a tattoo of the name ‘REBECCA’ on his arm.
The second is about 160cm tall, with a solid build, light coloured eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jumper.
The third is about 180cm tall, with a large build, with short hair and a fringe, and light-coloured eyes.
The fourth male is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm tall, with a solid build, dark hair and eyes.
Initial inquiries suggest the parties are known to each other.
