A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s north east yesterday.
About 10.15pm (Friday 5 August 2022), emergency services were called to Spring Ridge Road, Spring Ridge, about 60km south of Gunnedah, after reports a motorist had located a crashed Toyota Hilux Utility.
Police believe the vehicle rolled a number of times before coming to a stop.
One of the occupants – a 19-year-old woman – died at the scene.
The second occupant – a 20-year-old man – was assessed at the scene by paramedics and did not require hospitalisation.
Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic police, and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
