NSW police arrest three after 2.5kg of cocaine and $600,000 cash seized

Strike Force Raptor investigators have arrested three men, seized prohibited drugs and a large amount of cash, as part of an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs across Sydney.

In July this year, detectives from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor commenced an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs – mainly cocaine – across Sydney.

Following extensive inquiries, Strike Force Raptor investigators, with assistance from the Tactical Operations Unit (TOU), arrested three men – aged 42, 35 and 20 – at Victoria Road near Brush Road, West Ryde, just after 12.30pm today (Tuesday 1 September 2020).

During these arrests, investigators seized 2kg of cocaine and $600,000 cash, which will undergo further examination.

Four search warrants are currently underway at homes in Quakers Hill, Seven Hills, Blacktown and Sadlier.

So far during the searches, investigators have seized an additional 500grams of cocaine.

The men have been taken to Granville Police Station, where charges are expected to be laid.

Investigations by Strike Force Raptor are continuing.
